Gospel Acclamation

Usually this is an ‘Alleluia’, except during Lent when other words are used. It includes a short verse, which might be printed, eg: 'I am the resurrection and the life, says the Lord. Whoever believes in me will live forever.' We will sing whatever verse you print, or else default to this one.

Options for the Memorial Acclamation [choose one]: 'We proclaim your death, O Lord, and profess your resurrection, until you come again' or 'When we eat this bread and drink this cup we proclaim your death, O Lord, until you come again' or 'Save us, saviour of the world, for by your cross and resurrection you have set us free'.

Communion

We recommend choosing at least two sung items, either two solos, or a solo and a hymn, plus an instrumental reflection. A hymn can always be sung by a soloist, instead of the congregation, but if you print out the words of the hymn, that will encourage the congregation to join in.
