Responsorial Psalm
This comes between the First Reading and the Second Reading and can either be read or sung.The response [a short refrain after each verse] is often printed.

Gospel Acclamation
Usually this is an ‘Alleluia’, except during Lent when other words are used. It includes a short verse, which might be printed, eg: 'I am the resurrection and the life, says the Lord. Communion
